  • Battery Water Leakage

Our team has built and tested their ROV several times with no issues. However, now 2 of the 3 motors now have water inside the film canisters. Are there any additional tips for keeping water out? Or anything extra they can do as they rebuild/repack them?

KBonvechio Make sure there is a bed of wax between the end of the motor and the bottom of the film canister. The motor shaft should protrude approximately 0.3" to 0.4" (8mm to 10mm) I shoot for the lower side or around 5/16". Make sure the top cavity is filled with wax.
