  • Add a Real-Time Pressure Sensor

Are you looking for a way to add some advanced capability to your glider? Adding a pressure sensor is a great way to start!
Adding a pressure sensor to your glider will allow you to more accurately control its course by assigning the depths at which the glider begins/ends its dive/rise cycles. You could also use this information by saving it along with other sensor information to study depth effects of other measured phenomena (e.g. temperature or light color changes with depth).

The attached document provides a materials list, coding structure, and assembly instructions for adding the pressure sensor to your glider.

If you have any questions or comments, please comment on this post. Also, if you come up with any great ideas related to using a pressure sensor in your SeaGlide, let us know in a comment or a separate forum topic!
